    Why We Exist

Techno Mom Reviews is the place to come for simple, easy to understand and relate-to product reviews for all sorts of technology related products!

Here’s the deal. When I shop for electronics and technology related items, I go to CNET or some other online review place to see what’s best and if the item I’m interested in is really any good. The only problem is, the folks reviewing these products are professionals. They open the box and immediately know how to turn the item on. Just because they say it’s easy to use and it has all these cool features, doesn’t mean the average person like myself is going to be able to get said product to perform. – Erica

Our goal is to provide you with reviews from every day ladies like yourself! We promise to tell you what we really think and help you make an informed decision!

If we can use these products, you can too!

    Who We Are

We are women, we are bloggers, and sometimes, we review things. When those items happen to be electronic in nature, we share them here!

Every woman blogger is invited to participate by registering and submitting informational reviews of electronic/tech related products. Ideally, she will have reviewed the items on her own blog and the review/rating found here at TMR will be a summary of her findings.

Upon reading a summary here at TMR, a consumer may choose to follow the link to the blogger’s original review post for even more information!

We highly encourage rating products via the stars program and user’s comments! We want you to have the best information possible so you, the buyer, can make an informed decision!

    Your Resident Techno Mom

Erica MuellerErica boasts she was raised not only on a farm, but also on a computer. Her father is a Mechanical Engineer and Erica’s done everything from basic CAD to web design. Her favorite technology-dependent hobbies include digital photography, graphic design, and shortrun printing.

You’d think with all these technical references, she’d have to be an all knowing computer geek, but in reality, she’s just a confused consumer like yourself, wandering about the technical world, hoping not to get lost. (don’t even ask her to identify which board inside the computer is the motherboard, and which might be the hard drive!!)

This proud mother of a toddler and wife to an amazing man resides in northeast Texas. She enjoys time with her little family, being a big sister to 7 siblings, sleeping under the stars, playing in the leaves with her son, and singing her heart out. Erica’s crazy dreams include playing Maria in the Sound of Music, cruising with the whales in Alaska, and learning to fly a plane.

Erica is the founder and manager of Techno Mom Reviews. She can also be found talking about Wordpress, Blogging, Social Networking, Music, and Photography at EricaSays.com

    Meet the Original Techno Mom!

As the mother of two grown sons, Susan Mueller is re-entering the world of personal technology. She’s spent years teaching and nurturing these young men, and now, they’re giving back. Susan is proof that no matter how smart you are (and she’s a really sharp lady!) sometimes it’s hard to jump right into a technical world when you haven’t grown along with it. Here’s where those gadget-loving boys of hers come to the rescue. Having grown up with technology, they are always on hand to set up the new computer, fix the out-of-whack laser optical mouse, and provide personal tutorials for the first use of their mother’s new digital camera. Ryan and Joel have lovingly named their mother Techno Mom, because once she’s figured it out, Susan puts technology to work!

Susan is the wife of a wonderful man of 35 years. Together they have raised two brilliant and entrepreneurially minded  young men, not only home schooling them, but helping them start their own businesses and remaining involved in their lives as confidants, mentors, and friends. Susan is the doting grandmother to Ryan and Erica’s little boy and wears that title proudly.

In addition to supporting her husband in his dental laboratory business, Susan is an editor, affiliate marketer, and blogger. She can be found encouraging homeschoolers and entrepreneurs at EducatingToday.com
